Hi Bill,
I am trying to develop some madrigal 'homework assignments' for some
undergrads who are working for me. I thought I'd have them start by
making some plots for some of my sondrestrom experiments, but I cannot
get either 'simple madrigal data access' or 'plot data from instruments'
to work. In the past I've always downloaded ascii files of data, this
is my first attempt to use the online applications.
For instance, from
http://madrigal.haystack.mit.edu/cgi-bin/madrigal/plotInstrumentsSelect.
py
select 'sondrestrom'
set the data range 2001 Feb 17, 00:00:00 UT to 04:59:59 UT
select 'pcolor plot'
on the next page select NEL (I've tried several other parameters too)
hit 'create plot' and I always get the same message, 'no data
available'.
I know data available in this range since I've published it, and the
data are listed in the "available data for these instruments." I've
tried using SRI madrigal too with same result.
Any advice on how to get this to work? I'm stuck
Thanks!
