Madrigal administrators:

The Madrigal metadata files have been updated to include two new instruments:

Jicamarca Bistatic Radar (added by Cornell)
World-wide GPS Receiver Network (added by Haystack)

Please follow these steps to update your Madrigal metadata:

1. Download metadata_update.tar.Z from
http://www.haystack.edu/madrigal/distributionFiles/metadata_update.tar.Z to
MADROOT directory.

2. uncompress or gunzip metadata_update.tar.Z (in MADROOT)

3. tar xvf metadata_update.tar.

(Note to Irkutsk admin - due to low bandwidth connection to Irkutsk, your site
is not included in the siteTab.txt file. You should untar these files
elsewhere, and then move just the new instTab.txt file to your MADROOT/metadata
directory.)

One other question: Could everyone send me an email with the version of linux
or solaris on your Madrigal servers? I'm testing various plotting libraries,
and want to make sure they install easily on all Madrigal servers.

Thanks,

Bill
