The latest release of Madrigal, 2.1, is now available for download at
www.openmadrigal.org.

The new features of this release include:

1) A global search web interface that allows the entire local Madrigal
database to be searched at once. Users can use any possible filter(s)
that involve cedar mnemonics to filter out data, such as:
4 < Kp < 6
log10(Ti/dTi)>1.5

2) According to how you configure Madrigal, users can add notes to
individual experiments.

3) According to how you configure Madrigal, part or all of the database
can be restricted to users with selected ranges of ip addresses.

(These last two features were contributed by Tony Van Eyken.)

Features 1) and 2) are now installed at
http://www.haystack.mit.edu/madrigal - feel free to try them.

The Madrigal installation instructions are available at
http://www.haystack.mit.edu/madrigal/madInstall.html. They have been
completely updated, and now include instructions both for installing
Madrigal for the first time, and for easily updating Madrigal to the
latest release (2.1).

If you have any issues at all upgrading to this release of Madrigal,
please let me know - I've tried to make it as bullet-proof as possible,
but there's always something I could have missed.
